50 MPH 8000W AWD Electric Offroad Mountain Bike First Drive

Dual motor e-bike reaching very fast speed of 47-48 mph in minimal space. Bicycle as seen is running at 5600W with 2WD. This bike does come with the option of running at 8000W or 5600W. We chose 5600W because we felt 8000W is not needed and just spins the tires needlessly and also puts added stress on components. The pull is quite amazing on this thing. This particular video is the first impressions of our first ride. The space we ran it is just slightly downhill but also around a bend so there is less than 350 feet to really get on the throttle. Later testing on flat ground yielded 50 MPH on GPS and Radar! Total system weight ready to ride is only 65 lbs! (29.5 kg!) 8000w kit reaching fast speeds with amazing hill climbing Visit us at www.hi-powercycles.com Thanks for watching!

We need to accept that an electric bike will have to be very heavy which is not a problem.? What we must insure is good distance. If i could find an electric bike that would 40mph and 60 miles between charges it would be ace. Our government should make them legal and not require road tax or insurance. It seems the government are supressing electric vehicles because they want profit from oil sales. IT annoys me the government will not make electric bikes legal and puny speed limits.

@OCPUNK – I tried many bikes like Stromer and A2B but they have really bad performanceand $2800 is tooo much !! compared with the Busettii bikes made in the USA. The Big 50 Mile Bike by Busettii that I have will go over 50 miles on a charge but still has more torque and speed than these over priced bikes I tried. ? Busettii’s are about $1800 and also made in USA. Can cruise at 27 mph on a busettii thanks, Rainbow

Have you guys ever thought of putting one of these engines in a BMX bike? Some of us short guys don’t like riding mountain bikes, it just feels awkward. I prefer to have my hands higher than my ass in classic BMX bike fashion. Also if you look a motorcycle frame? design the seat is always lower than the bars (takes the stresses off the wrist, elbows, and shoulders), never understood why mountain bike frames were designed so different. Nice work though just wish I had some cash, nice website.
